Small Groups

Small groups are part of the life blood of a church. St Mark’s groups meet in homes, in the church, in a coffee shop, sometimes in the pub. They are a vital source of friendship and support. An opportunity to come together regularly to
learn and grow with others, sharing our faith amid life’s ups and downs.

Coffee Morning – Meets in Elys (3rd Floor Restaurant) at 11am usually on Fridays.

An opportunity for conversation and friendship. All are very welcome.

Book Group - St Mark’s Book Group meets about every two months at 8pm, normally a Wednesday.
We meet in a Book Group member’s home and recent books have included The Garden of Evening Mists
by Tan Twan Eng, When A Crocodile Eats The Sun by Peter Godwin and Lonely Londoners by Samuel Selvon.

Nous Spirituality Group – In the Nous group we support each other on our spiritual journey through silent meditation, prayer, and discussion. We are grounded in the Christian contemplative tradition but open to insights from other faiths and wider reading. We meet roughly once a month, usually on a Tuesday afternoon, by arrangement in the chapel at St Mark’s.
